ps-imadethis:

You remember it…back in the day at summer camp- sitting around with your circle of besties, bundles of bright string and that safety pin you used to attach to your jeans to weave them all together into endless piles of arm accessories. Those little plastic lettered beads that we used to slip on to spell out our names have since grown into gems, rhinestones, shells and studs- but the friendship bracelet lives on as a lasting symbol of togetherness, crafty creativity and effortless style.  Today, mixing and stacking them next to pricier pieces to create a casual-chic look is all the rage, and why stop at the wrist? If your ears are ringing with the sound of DIY, get wrapped up in this hot hoop that combines the traditional friendship bracelet weave with some gorgeous gems!

To create,  make two friendship bracelets out of embroidery thread or re-invent existing friendship bracelets using a needle and thread to sew onto a hoop earring.  Once secure, sew on accent beads.  Snip the excess bracelet and use clear nail polish to seal and  prevent fraying.
